Comet has the most eyeshine of any betta I've ever had. His eyes are silver, but they're almost all pupil and the pupils practically glow red when the light hits them. The effect is particularly creepy when I spot him watching me when my room is only dimly lit. Two red eyes watching me from the shadows... Even though those eyes are very small.
Thankfully for my sanity, Comet is also the laziest betta I own, preferring to lounge around rather than exert too much effort. Here he's laying on his tank's leaf hammock, watching me while I'm using my computer.
